Happy Chinese New Year. Wishing everyone good fortune in the year of the Snake.
If you're in NYC chinatown for the celebrations drop by the MOCA (Museum of Chinese in America)and check out the Marvels and Monsters comic book exhibition. Free admissions on Thursdays. The exhibition ends on Feb 24th, 2013.
I have some artwork on display. "Tokyo Rose" written by the talented Daniel Lee, from the Secret Identities Volume 2: Shattered anthology.

As a freelance creator I am always trying to learn more about the comicbook industry. I am going to start a section with anything I find of interest concerning the business. I call it the ComicBiz and here is the first one:

It’s 2013. Guess what my #1 New Year’s resolution is? Update this blog on a regular basis!
So why haven’t I been updating for so long and what’s happening with Monkeyquest?
Well, long story short, I have been busy doing work-for-hire and that leaves me no time for MonkeyQuest:(. So, instead I am going to turn this into my art blog:)
FYI, the pic above was done Christmas 2011! Haha better late than never
